Our mission is to provide high quality, hardy, plants and accessories to the garden community. 

History....

We started the Botanic Barn Garden Center in 2004 with the relocation of a circa 1790 three bay barn which now serves as our shop.

We have been growing ever since adding a greenhouse in 2005 and expanding our product line each year.  If there is something not in stock we'll do our best to locate it for you. 

Personal service... 

Owner, John Stancliffe has a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from the SUNY College of Env. Science and Forestry at Syracuse.  He studied urban design in Bacelona, Spain and has worked thoughout the US. 

John's former business Stancliffe Landscaping was centered on providing design build services to residential properties throughout the Capital District.
